Lent their hand

Someone has to be in charge and these are the folks.

These unsung laborers, and thats what they are, have lives.  Two participants should should not have been there.  One had a broken clavicle not yet healed, the other a recent heart operation and the temperature was in the 80′s.  Everyone on these two sites could easily have said “not today, I want to play” or “I’m needed by my family”.

Cloe the dog knew to pitch in.

These folks were serious, all hands on deck is the de regueur (custom or socially obligarory).    For the entire household that is able bodied and for all who showed up.  What a wonderful way to express caring and  indoctrinate those closest to us into a work ethic of helping those who are disadvantaged.

Moon over Lake Worth

What did everyone know that I did not know?  I’d just gotten out of the water when something was in the air and it was palpable. My story continues via photos.

They knew, they came early so the kids could get a swim in.

Totally prepared, with minutes to spare.
